who'd have thought chess could be so revolutionary?!

We're live!

The whole idea about Chess Riot is about making Chess accessible. So it's ultra quick to get in, and Lightning fast. You only have 5 seconds to move, meaning you need to think quickly and not worry too much about making mistakes.

It's early days, but we hope we've caught most the bad bugs.

For those technical amongst you, you might like to know it was built with a dastardly cocktail of:
V8, Node, Express, jQuery, CoffeeScript and Websockets (with a flash version of Websocket for non-chrome browsers).

  1. I tried to play a game, but nobody was there, apparently. So the only think I could do was to notice that you have the board turned wrong! White square should be on your right. Was that on purpose?
Anyway... It looks real good, and this kind of thing is something I'd be interested in re-doing myself for educational purposes.
    Good luck!
